On Saturday, the George and Ruby Adams Family Reunion happened at Canyon View Park in Provo. Everything had to change at the last minute because of algae blooms at Lincoln Beach in the Spanish Fork area. But the ones in charge quickly got this new place together and everyone was able to chat, eat, and do a few activities together.
We definitely missed the boat and tubing but David, Levi and Zel had an absolute blast with changing it up with mountain bike riding. Those guys are crazy but they sure like getting dirty and thrown off those bikes! Just 2 days before the reunion, we had a good friend that got hit by a car while bike riding in Provo so you can bet I was all about reminding them that they better be wearing helmets!
We haven't been able to go to all of the family reunions because of our moves but it is interesting to see how the reunions have changed throughout the years. It won't be long before we have to start having our own little breakoff reunions because of the original siblings passing away. Change can be hard but I'm grateful I have these memories of all these reunions throughout the years.
